Here we go, like promised:
Title: Falter Fandom: Naruto Summary: Iruka's not so sure about one of his new students... Addit: I know there are some things in here that may not seem consistant, but I am planning on making this a multi-chapter fic. Eventually. Someday. And those inconsistancies will be addressed in later chapters. I'll post this on ff.net once I've completely completed it. Beta'd: By the lovely iapetusneume. Length: 5,215 words.

Title: Not Wanting
Summary: I don't think I'll ever understand him.
Addit: .... *sweatdrop* This is my first story from Goku's POV. And I feel incredible weak in the area of first-person perspective to begin with. So hopefully this isn't horrible. >_< Anyways, this a response to the 'pick the first line from another person's story and write it into a drabble' meme, from iapetusneume's #1 line. Although, really, I don't think a 1,400 word story is really a drabble. *si~igh*
( He hits me. A lot. )
Note: The italicized text at the beginning and end of the short are stanzas taken from the Tao te Ching, from the 12th chapter of the first book. |

Title: Tentatively 'Checkmate', although this is only one scene out of a larger section I plan on writing. Summary: This is a Jiroshin-centric piece that will ultimately take place in the Karma universe. I'm not sure how I'm going to include it in A King Reborn, whether it will be part of the main story or a side-story, or maybe it'll just be a very complicated back-story that I end up keeping to myself. I dunno. I just think Jiroshin needs more screen time. ^-^ Exactly 2,800 words.

Title: A King Reborn
Summary: The only thing that stands between the Sanzo-ikkou and their goal is the Himilaya Mountains - and a tragic event on Mt. Gogyo that may or may not ruin their chances to save the world. All former lines of good and bad are now smudged and faded; just who the hell are the bad guys now?
Addit: NII JIENI! RAWR! What is it with creepy evil psychotic doctors being the effing BOMB?! Okay, so maybe I didn't portray him as cool as all that, but this is el doctoro's turn. I may have written this third, but I think this will be the first scene for the chapter. Set the moooood. Mwaha. And yes: it does feature the rabbit. Never fear. Word count: 2,246. Total word count of AKR: 8,325.

Title: How Will Atkins Work for You? Otherwise knowns as Meat or WAR!
Summary: Write a paper about meat or war. Don't really care WHAT it's about, so long as it's meat or war. War was far too sticky a subject, so I decided on meat - or rather, the meat in the Atkins diet. Threw in the bit about how Dr. Atkins supposedly died obese in order to make it different from all the OTHER jackasses who decided they'd write an Atkins paper as well, after I made my topic decisions. Bastards. ^-^!
Addit: Coulda been shorter than my other papers, at only 640 words, but this ended up being 1,035. The more the merrier! Not certain if I like it or not. Doesn't really matter; now I get to go watch Master and Commander for the first time and get started back on A King Reborn. Mmmm, Nii Jyeni...

Title: A King Reborn; Saiyuki genre. AU, although most of the events that occur in the Gensomaden and Reload (whenever I find out about them... XD!) arcs are the same. Major differences are seen in the Gaiden arc and where-ever-the-hell this splits off from the main plot line. Where? I don't know yet. Probably before Reload, because Homura is going to be a major plot device here.
Addit: I like pretty boys. I have no doubt that this will eventually turn into some kind of yaoi fix, though by no means will this be a PWP. It's been a while since I've done the whole boy-love thing. Hakkai's turn; this may be a little confusing at first. To me, Hakkai is a man that seems to live mostly in memories, where every little motion and step forward will remind him of something that has happened in the past. This bounces around A LOT, so hopefully the use of italics and backslashes will help keep everyone on the same page. Spoilers from all over the place; if you haven't been paying attention to Saiyuki, then some of the references may go over your head. Approx. 3,491 words. Total word count of AKB: 6,706.

Title: Hands on a Hardbody review paper
Summary: Write something about the Hands on a Hardbody documentary we watched in mmc2100 Journalism class. Write what? Just about anything: a review of the documentary; pose a question about which is worse, working your ass off to pay 15k for a truck, or working your ass off standing for three days straight; what is it about trucks being a religion in the south?; etc. and so on. Let your imagination be your guide.
Addit: I get the feeling that I went off on a tangent at the very end and didn't really tie the whole thing together. It just seems to peter out at the end. Maybe not. I'll find out when I get the paper back. And hey! This one was finished almost fourteen hours before it's due. I'm getting better at this. 948 words. This one is Fleish-Kincaid level 11. Yummay.

Title: Extreme Ghostbusters: Demon in My Soul
Summary: A demon comes to New York City, and the EGB's learn what it wants too late... it's son.
Addit: This fiction is WAAAAAAY old. So old, in fact, it was back when I was using my obsidian_shadows@altavista.com account, which shouldn't work anymore. What does that mean? That means 2001, baby, yeah. I like the idea, but not really this story. It was a poor effort. I refuse to beta this and fix the mistakes; it really needs to be tied into the series better. If this ever gets worked on again, it won't be a make-over - it will be completely re-written. Five parts and an epilogue.

Title: None as of yet.
Summary: Outlining the events that occured from the first time Kikyo and Inuyasha meet, to the time they were betrayed. I know that the anime and the manga both go into this, but I wanted to write something more in-depth. I'll try and incorporate both the anime and the manga versions into this somehow, since they're fairly similar. I was also quite curious at Kaede's mild acceptance of Inuyasha's unsealing, considering everyone believed he'd killed her sister.
Addit: Outline of the first nine chapters or so. Roughly 3k words.
WARNING: The spelling is atrocious. I refuse to go back and fix this. Typing when you're half out of your brain just doesn't work.

Summary: Blargh! Write about someone you know and can interview and does more than just meet random people in public, like the stupid idiot that is writing this.
( Surprisingly enough, the Fleisch-Kincaid level on this is 12. Wow. )
Personally, I think it's evil.

Title: Final Fantasy Seven : J I H A D | Prologue: The Beginning of the End
Summary: Taking place three years after the end of the game, our heros have gone their respective ways in life. And then the Mayor of Junon is saved by our heros as a Shinra faction tries and succeeds to get back into power. Rebellious parties, ex-heros, and evil alien spawn run rampant.
Prologue: After Meteor falls, a certain individual feels that all is not yet over. And how right she is...
Addit: Yeah, I'm horrible at giving up ideas; they just keep growing and morphing into strangely unrecognizable... things over the years. And let me tell you what, I went back over the ten or so chapters I wrote initially and GOD. IT. HURT. My writing was so painfully poor back then that I wonder why I even wrote at all. It's amazing what just five years of experience can do you... especially when you were fifteen when you first started seriously writing. XD! 1,038 words; 4 written pages; 3 typed pages.
( I just love the phrase 'evil alien spawn run rampant'. )

Title:Final Fantasy Seven : J I H A D
Addit: Summary for chapters eight through twelve. I ended up having to re-write the fight scene in chapter eleven and twelve, and from the looks of it I might have to split chapter twelve up in two. No matter; with this much figured it, I should probably actually get to writing it. And hell, twelve/thirteen chapters with no Reno?! Blasphemous! I only hope the vague smut backflash scene with him in chapter seven will appease his muse. Oooommmm....
